Default Shift **** - fitment??

I want a MOMO shift **** for my auto tC. Apparently there is only one that fits automatic cars. What's up with the "MAY fit SOME" automatic cars? So what is it? I like the styles for the manual ones better than the only one for the auto.

The rest come with the description of:

MOMO Shift ***** have a universal fit and they are designed for all manual transmission cars, some cars may require some slight modification on the shift rod. MOMO Shift **** requires a shift rod diameter of 0.60’’ or less. If you are looking for a Automatic Shift **** currently the only one available from MOMO is the MOMO AUTOMATIC listed below.

OR

"MOMO shift ***** are designed to work on manual transmission cars and trucks only. MOMO shift ***** may work on some automatic transmission ***** without a gear selector button."

I don't know about momo specifically, but a lot of "universal" ***** just have 3 adjustment screws so you could use them on an auto or manual without any problems(at least with shifter rods like on the tc). The ones that the dealership sells, as far as I know, are direct screw on replacements. There are also others I have seen which just have a semi-soft compound inside and you just screw it on and it threads to your thread pattern.

the shift rod on an automatic is smaller diameter than the manual shift rod. this is why some do not fit the auto properly. I agree with what you don't want, is the ones that have the set screws. You want one that screws directly onto the automatic shaft, like the stock one.

I think that there are some out there, Razo makes them. Plus Dr. Isotope makes some custom ones too. If he's on this site, look him up

yeah the only descpription I got is the "shift rod diameter of 0.60’’ or less" I guess I have to find out how ours are.

I believe it's an 8 or 10mm diameter for the automatic and the manual is 12mm in diameter. I just can't remember where I read that.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but this is my exact question. I want a momo shiftknob for my auto tc. Is there any other insight? It's been a couple years...

This is the one i'm looking at: http://www.subesports.com/products/c...OMO/prodID/611
maybe not from that site, but just so you know which one i'm looking at.

Thank you guys/gals in advance.
