Small Sub wiring Quest...(Kicker)
If you get one 4ohm sub, it'll get 800 watts with the amp bridged. If you get one 8ohm sub, it'll get 400 watts with the amp bridged... 2 4ohm subs can get 200 each with the amp in stereo, 2 8ohm subs can get 800 total with the amp bridged or 100 each with the amp in stereo... 4 4ohm subs can get 200 each by wiring each pair in parallel and running the amp in stereo... it all depends on what you want... If I were you, I'd look for a single 12" that'll handle 800 watts... make sure it's either single 4ohm VC or dual 2ohm VC so you can get a 4ohm mono load and allow your amp to push 800x1@4ohm
I guess your right tC_guy. I'll get one 12" dual voice coal @ 2 omh's and brige it to my amp. I'm learning so i know i'm a sound noob. I unserstood all until the ohm's part kicked in, that threw me off. I' understanding it a little more so thanks.
