get a 10"w3v2 from jl audio... then jsut a sealed box... slap the amp on the back for the box

 

I'm thinking of building a couple of these to put up for sale...but I am not sure, plus I have to read to rules of posting things for sale. But this is what I built and I could make it for a 12, 10 or 8. The one in the picture is a 12. Also, I could leave the final step up to you meaning that you could put a carpet on it or paint it

On the sub side.. you should look at the Type-Rs. They're my favorite lower-mid level sub, and they're pretty small. That tied with an alpine mrp-350 (small amp) would give you some low level bass, without all the space overhead....

I'm concerned cause I use mine as the daily driver as well.

You could have a 10" audiobahn sub outplay the 8w7, and it would be cheaper too!

 

outplay??? SQ?? audiobahn doesn't have any.... sometimes they can get a little loud....but they don't sound good doing it...

Hold on, looking at yur cardomain page....wait, yur the guy wit the box that don't even fit in yur trunk and it looks like hell! Guess u had to buy the loaded box because u lack the knowledge/experience to put together a nice system. Those subs are weak man, my tens will probably play almost as loud. and BTW, RF sucks! Don't feel bad cuz u overpaid just so u could have JL ( its like a status thing) check out a real...nicely designed system (box actually looks like it fits in the trunk). The subs are Sound Q subs, alum cone for tight, quick response. They are made for SQ!!! but i can still be heard bumpin from a long way away. Maybe if u have a nicer lookin enclosure for ur subs, I'd cut ya some slack, but bro, that box looks horrible!

 

overpaid??? don't know what you're talkin about..... I only paid $550.... You'd be surprised what people will give up when they're strapped for cash...

You've obviously never heard any of JL's HO box's... I would like a better looking box, but I'd much rather have an enclosure properly designed to work well with the subs.... I don't give a Fuİk about "bling" or "status"... Go ahead and get your Audiobahn components cuz day gotz da flamez on em dat make em bumpz and singz....
