So for anyone who used the schoche gap filler kit that goes on the sides, can you tell me how you mounted it? After attaching the Z1 (or D2 in my case) to the stock metal mounting brackets, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the plastic gap fillers to connect and not look totally wrong. They can't bolt under the metal brackets because that would move the metal out too far. They can't go over them because the ridges in the metal make the plastic fit wrong - how did everyone get it to work?

it takes a little bit of modification. First off you will notice a little L and R on the sides of the scosche brackets, those are backwards (at least in mine they were). Now hold it up to where you think it should go. You will see all the holes that line up. From there, look at what is blocking it and cut that off. I know it sucks that you have to do that, but it really wasn't that bad. Just make sure you have something to cut it with.
