That's why you make playlists!
Seriously, take the time to create them and you'll be MUCH happier.

If I made one playlist with every single one of the songs, could I browse them alphabetically by title?

It depends on how you put them in the 'list. If you put them in alphabeticly, they will stay that way. You should also be able to search by Genre, album, artist, composer, almost anything... Good luck with your 'lists

I made one big playlist with all my songs, but I put them in alphabetical order. It now works perfectly on my head unit. Thanks for the tip!

Yes, just use the "Random" option on the head unit.

i really like the convenience of having the ipod upgrade but it's not so convenient when trying to scroll through playlists and songs while driving and keeping ur eyes on the road. it would of been a little better if they had some type of ipod controls on the steering wheel along with the radio controls but hey no real complaints other than that

Yeah it is a bit slow when scrolling through songs especially when you have about 1,000 songs on there

it does suck when you have a lot of songs and what is worse is that you might be on song H and if you stop it goes back to A

try it with over 2700 tracks. You get half way to the song you want, have to look at the road and then start over.

Hi guys, I just have a quick question. I've been looking into doing somethin' to get my iPod runnin' through my stereo and have decided to go with the ipod2car. I have the factory 6 cd changer, but I have non-factory subwoofers. So I'm wondering if I can still run it through with the subs. Some one told me I couldn't so I wanna find out before I make a purchase. Thanks

to be honest, i have not worked with the ipod2car, however i did have the icelink on my factory deck, and had outputs going to my amp, and the music played through it fine like it was a regular speaker. Also from what ive seen ( and you can correct me if i am wrong ) but IIRC, the icelink is the only one that displays song information and supports playlists perfectly on our decks.

To my knowledge iPod2car will not work with a 6CD factory radio. The reason is because you actually have to hit the 'CD' button to change the 'discs' to get to the iPod2car.

If anyone else can prove me wrong, but I think it's even on their site???

Ok, so if that is the case, how else can I get my iPod runnin' through the car stereo? Is there even another way?
