1- funny, thats the EXACT ID sub i saw in best buy!!! :D lol... and heard it. and yes, my subs are WAY better than that piece of crap weak sub.

2- didn't even bother looking at ED. that stuff is a novel fad designed to capitalize on the scion community by hocking their gear on scion forums to dumb kids (aka. typical scion drivers) who have no clue what they should be looking for as far as car audio equipment. NO ONE in or around where i live has even heard of ED, let alone run them. its a small-time, mom and pop internet start up company which Mandos knew he could prop up on SL and hock all the gear to dumb kids. its a JL knockoff brand. except nowhere near the caliber.

3. never even heard of FI, the website sucks, there is no info/stats/specs, and based on just the stats they give and the look, yeah, my subs are way better. my subs are BEASTLY. i had them out of the box last month, things are almost too heavy to pick up. get these cheapo little dinky subs out of my face. :D

keep em coming...though i must say, i'm VERY disappointed with the weak showing so far.

 

basically, i could quite easily start up a company like ED, FI or Stereo integrity and be producing the same quality gear within 6 months. they might as well be made in china.

because you dumb hick midwesterners and such have 1 car audio shop in your tiny little town and it carries 1 brand, so you all fall in love with that one brand and rock it like its hot. ie. ED. you have your crappy little small town car show where you and all your buddies with the exact same gear show up and all put out the same SPL numbers and think you are so badass....what you don't realize is that theres another car show in the small crappy town down the street that is using a different brand and getting the same results.

your narrow-minded small town hicks. its has a lot to do with knowledge. being ignorant that is.

That is ID's lowest end sub linked above, and again never sold at any best buy anyplace ever *LOL* And sorry, but the quality of ID's lowest end sub, far surpasses the quality of the best made sub from audiobahn... Which are made in china wahahaha man you are living in your own little world

I like many many brands besides ID, they just happen to make one hell of a sub & exactly what I wanted / was looking for from a sub spec wise. You can pick on id all you like but in the end your still an audiobahn FeG and audiobahn is for people that spray paint there cars two tone and put biplane wings on the back of there civics.

You are talking junk about Fi and ID? Have you ever heard or used their products?? You shouldnt talk what you dont know. Let me tell you a little of what I have ran.

I have ran 1 15" Alpine TypeR2 12" JLw3's, 2 10" Audiobahn 1005n's, 2 12" Kicker CVX's, 2 12" AudioQue sd2.5's, and currently a pair of 15" Fi Q's.

All powered properly and in the proper CUSTOM enclosures. No prefab BS.

My experience was, The audiobahns got decently loud but the SQ was the crappiest out of all. CVX's got loud and had decent SQ. Audioques got louder and had decent SQ. And the Fi Q subs that I have now are by far the loudest and best sounding out of all.

I suggest you talk about what you know and have experienced, not just talk out of your rear end. You talking without experience about these companies is like me talking about scions when I have had no experience with one.

Hey moron, got some news for you. A sub with an aluminum cone is going to look blingy. ever seen eclipse subs??? oh yeah, they are blingy and crappy too. :D

fyi, my subs are on the same level as the eclipse titanium (not really) subs. but i suppose eclipse sucks too, right? because they're all blingy and sold at CC, BB and cardomain. :D :D :D

 

1 - if you saw image dynamics at BB id be highly surprised. also consider that retail stores dont always pair up subs/amps in the most ideal situation to fully utilize the potential of the stuff they are selling.

2. ED is not a Scion fad brand. And just because you or other people in your area havent heard them dont mean that they are crap. alot of people havent heard about eD. my cousin has been an installer for almost all his life (hes like 26 now) and i made him shut up with my eD since he was doubtful about a $100 sub (13kv.3). also keep in mind that the only reason that its big in the scion community b/c of mandos is b/c mandos has SCION too. (i.e. all his rip apart guides, sound deadning threads, and his infamous 32 subs in his tC thread).

3. what more specs do you want? thats a boat load of info right there and then! also which audiobahn subs do you have? itd make sense why they are so heavy since they have all that "chrome" flames and what nots to shine and what not.
