Default Two batteries

Hey guys,

before you start flaming and say oh you don't need that crap believe me i do.

I am trying to put in two optima batteries and i am wondering how i would do so.

One will be in the engine bay and the other in the trunk or if its easier run two in the trunk. either way let me know. All responses are welcome.

No one should flame you for asking this question. Caps are not worth it. For alittle more then what you can get a digital cap you can add another battery. In the next few days i want to make a write up on how to add a second battery. Its not that hard. all you need is a thick gauged wire (amp wire) battery box, connecters, a battery and a battery isolater from there its pretty easy.

Check out kineitk batteries. The site is kinetikcaraudio.com or something like that. (google kinetik power cells) you can get them off ebay for cheaper thenthe msrp. but compare the hcs800 to the yellow top. it is 14pounds where the yellow top is 34. its half the size and puts out about the same. Im also looking to add 2 of these in my civic. Ill be running 2 amps, nitrous, turbo, msd ign and other things and i know these batteries will handel it.

Just stay tune for my write up.

Caps really do nothing at all second battery setup is way better! I'm going to be installing my second battery here real soon. Those kinetiks sound pretty good i'm going to have to look into that.

where else could a battery be put in the tC if the spare tire well is already filled up with audio equipment (custom glassed box)? mount it under the car where the stock muffler once was?
