Well, it's going to be a few more days until the finished product is ready.. I'm having some problems with my car that need to be worked out shortly. My guess is that it will be done by this weekend..

Hey "rockbrawler884". Where did you get that Magnaflow Exhaust? I was supposed to get that same exhaust from PrecisionMuffler.com but they test fited it and said it wouldnt fit?

 

Just as an update to everyone... this project has been put on hold until sometime after next week. It's spring break... Ya'll know what that means. Well at least it is for Mike.... I work!

Yanki he got that with his ZPI Exhaust. He has another one for sale too.. I'd suggest PMing him about it. After listening to his exhaust, I'd definately recomend it over any other exhaust systems. My Megan is a wee bit loud.

 

LMAO at your doors... I have a set of monitors in my doors for months now.. looks cool, but you should have really taken the door panel apart to get that right... I unplastic welded all of the things on the back and then rewelded them all back on there again.. here is a pic of my door. sorry the pic is crappy, but it is done in silver CF.

i like the tvs but i would do them. i think its more of a show factor and i dont go to shows so it would kinda be a waste for me

yes you are very correct.. they are for show.. I have 7 screens in there, and I dont even watch the one that is in the dash.. LOL

 

are you using spray glue to apply the cloth?

 

Yes, we recommend using high quality spray glue, the cheap stuff doesn't stick as well...

 

Here is the glue I use. I have a spray gun that I use it through. Works awesome and dont come loose with heat or down the road.

one more question, what kind of prep work did you do on the door, if any?

 

I took mine and sanded down the plastic panel to where it was really smooth, then took alcohol and wiped it cleand and was ready to go.

 

when you say you unplastic welded the things on the back, what exactly did you do? I'm gonna attempt this sometime next week, any tips would be helpful

 

This is exciting to see! All our scions have come a long way since the end of last years show season! Should make a great one this year!!
