Default viper 791xv and headlight problem

I had my 791xv installed lately and it works great, but I do have a pet peve about it.

If you auto start the car and suddenly decide to turn off the car remotely... the headlights stay on if you haven't shut your headlights off manually. (before the alarm, i left them on the "on" position")

Before, the headlights shut off automatically right after you exit the car (opening the door).

What should I do about this situation? =T

You'll need to leave the headlight switch in the off position, if you plan on not entering and exiting the car. Thats the way it goes. There is probably a way to wire a relay that when the remote start shuts down, your door trigger is pulsed and it thinks the door was opened and shut. But you might run into problems when deactivating the remote start when you puch on the brake. I would just leave the switch off....

tell your installer to put the park light wire on the PARK LIGHTS.... thats the problem... the headlights have the delay.... the park lights do not.... i have it that way on mine and no problem at all.....
