Yes..........inmy kit there were mounting brackets......I have Mobile HIDs kit.......I mounted one to each side of the radiator bracket betweent eh grill and the radiator.......there are screws on each side that I undid and hung them on and mounted them there......at a slight angle to now be seen through the grille......

I have docIs cover plate so they are hidden fromthe top........front and back and the wires reach with a lot of room.......

 

im installing the same kit tomorrow and was planning on putting it in that same area, glad to know it will work, thanks!

i put my left side balast under the battery right side is just out in the open, bolted to one of the frame braces or something like that =P lol

 

I bought 2 sets of hids, for my headlights and my fog lights, so I gotta mount 4 ballasts! I dont know how the heck im gonna do that lol...

 

you can mount them in the areas that i did. lol. theres alot of room in there! lol

zip-ties + double sided tape = BEST FRIEND. lol

 

Here is a picture of where I mounted mine........love the idea of putting them behind the bumper too.........

 

If Im doing that I am definately gonna go get doc's radiator cover lol...

@BZinn1, are the ballast visible through the grill?

 

it looks as if the sides of hte grill (the part of the bumper) block most of it from being seen

 

i used a flat bar on the passenger side and near the battery for the driver's side. velcro is ur friend.
