06 tC interior fabric color has changed
So I totally take back how I said I liked the 06' steering wheel..upon further review..w/out the stitching..it looks awful..I think it definately takes away from a sporty feel on the steering wheel...ALL 05's have a really almost unnoticeable blue tint in the inlay of the seat....and is it just me or does the HVAC **** look more rounded off to you guys/gals.?
My Interior looks grey to me also.
Also, I really don't see what the big deal is with the steering wheel controls. I know it doesn't take much for me to raise my right arm and turn up/down my music on the HU. I stash my iPod in the center storage compartment along with my iCarPlay adaptor. It works for me.

A) Nothing in my car is blue. Everything is black, charcoal, grey, etc.
B) The "cell phone holder" cubby behind the shifter folds back in the '06s, just like the '05s. The pictures you're referring to was a pre-production model and the door folded forward.

B) Bummer about the cubby, it makes sense they was it is on the "pre-production" model.

There has been only one interior color code, therefore, there has never been more than one interior color (other than the RS). I think maybe what people are seeing is the checks in the fabric use a shiny thread that reflects the light differently depending on the light and the angle you look at.

definetly possible....i just looked again and it looks gray/silver at some angles and navy blue at others...but since my car is blue i'm just gonna keep saying it's black and blue fabric. it makes me feel special.
Call the interior colors what you want, but unless you have an RS tC, you have black interior. It might look blue or something else to you, maybe it depends on the light, I don't know, but they're all the same and it all looks black or some other non-blue dark color to me.
interesting about the blue/gray interior phenomenon. i've always seen it as blue in the little squares, but i took a flashlight and held the light right up to the seat and i saw gray in the little squares. but without the flashlight right up to the seats, from all angles outside in the light, right in or out of the sun, it looks blue. it's actually pretty cool. it's like having two interior colors. it's shiny thread so that's probably what's causing it. but why would it look blue to a lot of us? it has nothing blue to reflect.
but one thing i do notice is that in pictures of peoples' tcs with black leather the seatbelts look bluish.
