my stupid 07 rattles a little bit at high speeds on the freeway.

thats the only time it ever rattles, most likely since im still stock.

also, i never ever have my sunroof open, so its not the sunroof vibrating.

 

The only rattle i have, or know of, is the radio door squeaking... Blasting music makes it go away though lol

 

Not sure if my rattle/squeek on my '07 is the radio door or if it is somewhere the radio mounts inside the dash because sometimes it stops when I push firmly against the face of the radio . (tried messing with the radio door and it didn't seem to make a difference ). Rolling the windows down or turning the music up takes care of that though!

My 05 rattles everywhere. I just put the windows down to relieve some of the SPL that causes the worst rattles.

 

I'v had my '07 since Oct and rattle free. Just rolled over 6k miles

 

I have the same rattles in my 07 that I had in the 06
pretty sure its just as prone as previous years, some got em, some dont

 

when do the 08s come out? im getting a tc soon and i like the o8 models

 

i removed all the plastic ribs but their are still some noises behind my dash.. not sure where

 

I pretty much fixed all of my rattles in my 06. I went to home depot and bought high strength long lasting window draft rubber and put it on the hatches 2 main contact points with the stoppers on the side and then put 2 other pieces on the rear bumber screws where the other 2 contact points are made when hitting bumps. This is the point where most rattles occur. Easiy fixible with a trip to home depot, $5.00, scissors, and a few minutes.

 

'08 model is on its way.
Went to the dealer today to see if they still had a white '07 5spd and they said the SW and BSP for that year are getting pretty hard to come by because in a month all the new orders will be '08 models but the sales guy is a member on here and pretty cool guy, said he would trade me th ugly '08 headlight/taillight housings with his own '06 tC if I buy the '08 tC through him (he says he likes them). Might be able to convince him into trading grilles too!

 

As far as the rattles go... the only one I have is the radio door squeek, and I hope to fix that soon by putting in the tCover. (not sure if it will fix it or not, but its a good "reason" to get the tCover)
