yes, i was very impressed on how well the car held up. and especially the cabin. this was a big part on why i bought another one. had i taken my winter beater car out that night and done the same thing..the end result would have probably been much worse.

heres a pic of where most of the pressure on the roof was..so you can see that in any other car..that would have smashed right in..

nope. it never caught fire. although..i thought it did. my buddy was knocked unconscious when we hit the tree. and as the car was slidin on the roof i was hitting him trying to wake him up. well when he came to..the first thing out of his mouth was.."the cars on fire..get the f*** out" because the passenger side turn signal had came on..and was flashing on his side of the car.

so..him being 6'1..he was alright taking his seatbelt off because his head was already on the roof. but me being 5'9..it was quite the fall onto my head. haha. everyone always says.."well why didnt ya put your hand down?" to answer that for those who might have asked it..you cant..when your weight is on the seatbelt, you have to use one hand to unbuckle it, and the other hand to pull it so your weight is off it. if your weight is on the belt..it will most likely not come off.

ive got paint chips from the car that were pulled from my ears..and hair. from the car sliding upside down, it all being scooped in with the dirt from the road. we slid down the road my side first..so i was filthy. (you can see in the last picture posted that the paint and metal was burned/rubbed off from sliding down the road)

both headlights were fine. they both flew very far from the car..but were not harmed at all. the clips just broke.

SCARY parts..a piece of the rotor from the driver side front was found inside the car. i found my keys out in the field above the tree we hit. the scion key stayed in the ignition..and the keyring that was holding the scion key to the rest snapped. my buddy and i play ice hockey. we had ice skates in the backseat..luckily neither of us were cut or mamed by them..

i lost alot of stuff in the accident. my cell phone that i paid 400 bucks for was on the car charger..and flew somewhere..probably to the moon. haha. everything that was in my hatch was scattered all over the road, and way up in the field.

im definitely getting ahold of progressive tomorrow and seeing how much i could buy the car back for. if they even still have it. im not sure what they do with them. but i would love to have the motor. it only had 4800 miles on it. id like to be able to have the car so i could part out the good stuff. 3 of the rims are fine. the driver side one..ya cant see from the pics but when it was upside down you could see from looking at the back side..it was basically broke in half. but theres alotta stuff in it that i could either use, or sell.

Wow, another tC totaled and more lives saved. Scion does it again. You made a good decision getting another tC. I hit a tractor trailer on Monday and rolled my tC. I was fine, car wasn't. So I'm getting another tC to replace it. Scion FTW, glad everything worked out for you.

yes sir, i was sittin sideways. or..upside down. haha. the name is actually from when i had a bagged accord. i had it sittin in the parking lot with one side lifted. (for a car show) and somebody left a note on it saying "dear Mr. SittinSidewayz..theres a party in the parkin lot later" so ever since then..it said sittinsidewayz on the rear windshield. haha.
