I have a 2008 Scion tC with a Avital Remote Start 7111L. It stopped working so I replaced the battery in the remote and it still won't start. I've searched all over the internet for answers, but found nothing. Does it need to be reprogrammed by the dealership or can I do it myself?
I bought the car used quite a few years ago and the remote started never gave me a problem. It's not one of the ones in the key fob, it is a separate fob, but I assume it came with the car when the previous owner bought it. Any idea on why it still won't work or how I can get it to work?
