cool pic .. dat'd be interisting ..

i drove my sister's car recently, an 03 sentra and i almost let the door fly when i opened it, ive grown accustomed to my tC's door and i noiced how small her door was to my car, but the door is bit of an annoyance now .. sure its strong and big, but its annoying when im parked, especially on campus and i have to watch out and make sure not to dent the car next to me, big doors aren't good in those spots where its a bit of a squeeze

Do you really net an internet fight this badly?

I wasn't claiming the tC was anything, nor was I upset wih you stating the obvious.

All I said was, if you don't like the tC don't post about it. Don't waste your, and much more importantly, our time.

Please leave, the tC forum at least, and the planet preferably.

i think suicide doors would be an ok compromise to a 4dr sedan. it all about easy access to the rear seats. especially for child seats. now, i know the proposed demo scion is going after, but there sure are alot of 17, 18, etc year old baby daddys'. i don't have a kid right now but plan on it eventually, so i would like to buy a car that i don't have trade in later do to a change in my life like a kid. hopefully scion comes up w/ something in the future.

One thing to note is that suicide doors require the removal of the b-pillar, which will weaken the structural integrity of the body. With a glass roof causing flex already, adding suicide doors may be too much of a compromise for the rigidity of the car. That and the tC would cost more.

suicide doors like that would make every critic of the scion line up jump out and claim they tried to steal something from the saturn ion quadcoupe.....something no one wants. And the body would be less rigid meaning loss in handling due to body roll like the ion quadcoupe. The redline got some lower reviews on handling i think this is why, because of the less rigid body from suicide doors. Plus in my personal opinion they just look like ___. but thats just me

true the suicide doors would make it a bit less rigid, but this is not a sports car were talking about here. if i was the best handling i just have to drive my BMW the "ultimate driving machine". i guess as long as the car was just as safe then i would not muind the slight loss in handling. keep the ideas coming though.

Anything that slightly even resembles a Saturn ____es me off. . . the only car that gets away with it is the RX-8, and that's because it is a decent SPORTS car. I think the tC would look really sissy with extra doors in that Saturn fashion.

Even tho the Saturn Ion Redline is semi-fast, it still looks like a hippie liberal douche car.

I would love the tC that much more if it came with 4 doors. The 2-door is definitely very slick but can be difficult as someone stated when parked and you don't want to dent anyone's car door. Do they have a suicide door kit for this? I saw the Avensis but I still like the look of the tC more. Hope Scion comes with a 4-door soon!

Even my mother said why are you looking at your car online.. I said that's not the tC and she replied well it sure as hell looks alot like it.

well, if scion was gonna have a sport sedan, i would hope they didn't build it on the avensis platform. i would hope that they would build a sport sedan on a sporty platform, not a luxuryish platform. i'm pretty sure the avenisis is to europe and japan, what the avalon is to the US.

That's a nice car. But the tC doesn't look much like it. Well, maybe they should just bring the Avensis to U.S.

Pontiac G6 doesn't look that much like a tC though...

With the Corolla and the Camry, the Avensis would be out of place.

If the Corolla and Camry weren't two of the least sporty, most bland and boring sedans on the planet I might agree with you. I definitely think there's a spot for a good handling small-to-midsize sedan in the North American Toyota (well, Scion) lineup.
