i take it back. each gear can be moved inward a quarter of an inch. only 5th gear vibrates and it's only when i give it more than 1/3 gas. it will vibrate until i pick up more speed...then i need to add more gas for it to vibrate some more.
i'm bringing in my car on thursday, so i'll have them check it out.

Default Same thing here

I have an 06' tC and I am having the same issue. When I'm in fifth gear and let off the gas the shifter will immediately bump down about an inch then when I get back on the gas it will bump back into it's original place. I only have about 1500 miles on it. None of my other gears even vibrate enough for me to notice.

i took my car in to get it looked at, also had my last oil change done. they wouldn't look at it because of my engine damper...they want me to remove it and bring the car back.

i bet they will say that the vibration is caused by some kind of damage that the damper did and will try to void my warranty....we'll see next week when i bring it in

Default first stick...thought it was normal...

I have an '06 tC and my 5th vibrates slightly. I thought that it was normal for a stick since one of my friend's car ('00 Accord coupe) vibrates too. I have 17,400+ miles on it and I don't need any issues.

I had a problem with it shifting into 3rd like some other posts but it went away after a while. I figure I just didn't put it in tight enough. No problems with 5th though.
