6 more weeks!
I was so pumped when my dealer rep called regarding my tC order...thought he called to tell me "IT'S HERE!". I was sadly mistaken.....I knew it was too good to be true as its only been a little over a month and he orginally told me 2-4 months.
But did call to tell me he does have a more acurate timeline for me, 6 more weeks. Which will put me right around the new year.
Grrrreat.....will probably be driving my new car off the lot into a mound of snow!
*sigh*

I was contemplating what I wanted to get myself for Christmas as well...
Seeing as how I'm picking up my FM 5 spd tommorow I was hoping I might be able to get GoldLine 2" drop springs and the Hotchkis front/rear swaybar setup first, then work on possibly getting the K&N CAI and Injen exhaust after I save up a lil more after that.
After that, who knows, wheels/tires maybe?
So far I'm lookin at:
Goldline Springs: 189.00
Hotchkis front/rear swaybar set: 289.00
K&N CAI: 220.00 (if we still get that lil deal)
and Injen exhaust: 400ish
wow, didnt realize it was that much till I just calculated it all up
(and it is a lot for me because im an 18 y/o college student paying for the car, gas, and any upgrades lol)
/hijack off

Keepin it real
beamer,
At least he called you up and told you. Now you have a timeframe 1.5 months, instead of 2.5 months. And if it goes pass that timeframe try to get a discount on something.

you should try calling around to other dealerships to see what they've got, and what others have coming in. Might be helpful. It's worth a shot, making a couple phone calls won't take you very much time. You just tell them that you have an order with another dealership and that it's taking a while, and was wondering if they had anything coming in. I did that and it worked out great.
