After a month w/tC
Well, my tC is now two months old and has (at last check) 5800 miles on it and I couldn't be happier. I have had no moonroof problems, no stereo door problems, never bottomed out (though I only installed my springs almost two weeks ago so it probably will happen at some point), the cluth/shifter are tight and have no problems (and I am not a granny driver by any means), and never had any rattling problems. In fact the only problem I have had with the car is paint chips on the hood (3, due to a large amount of local road construction and trucks in this state never having mudflaps
).
I love my tC
(even more with the springs, they provided signifigant improvment to the car's handling around the mountain curves).

If I'm driving on uneven roadways, turning on an incline, etc. my sunroof starts sounding like I'm driving behind a truck full of big rocks and each one of them is smacking my window. Pretty unnerving at times. At least my friends haven't directly asked me about it yet.
Scion called me for a followup on my purchase and while I told them my dealership absolutely rocked (thanks McGeorge Scion!) I did tell them about the sunroof problem. They advised that I should take it in for a checkup and try to get the problem to reproduce itself but, as luck would have it, it was quiet the entire time. Not five minutes after I drove away did it start again!
C'mon Scion... where's the service bulletin on this issue?
Other than that, this is a great(!) car and I am very happy with it overall.
I've had my Scion for about 3 weeks. Put almost 2k on it so far. Been loving it. Has a lot more power than I expected stepping down to a 4 cyl (had a 97 Z28 before)
Lots of room in it, drives nicely and has tolerated me learning stick pretty well. Factory stereo sounds really nice, and it handles fairly well. Could use a little less roll, but I'm not stressing it.
I have no problems with my sunroof. I am getting around 24mpg, a bit less when I lead foot it.
I guess the sunroof is pretty noisy when it's open. But well, no noisier than my last car with the windows down.
Gets lots of looks. Lots of people love my car when they ride it in or see it. Drives nice, gets good gas milage and looks good. Got a ton of stuff for the price. I have no complaints on the car so far. First import I've bought, first Toyota I've bought based on my friends experiences with Camry and Corolla, and I'm glad I did.

I have had my car for around two months. I turned 2000 miles today.
1.) On my drivers side door, the top peice of the door handle keeps falling off.
2.) The Air conditioner vents move on their own. (which is bad for fat people like me)
3.) Hell yea it scratches easy.
Just those little things are wrong but it's no reason to complain. The way I look at it is, Ill change most of the interior including the door panels. I have a daily driver so I could care less about the vents, and lastly Ill have the car painted some other color.
As for the Mr. Clean thing. I love it. I make some good money off my parents with that thing. I half ___ wash both of their SUV's with one of those brushes and use that......no spots and it takes me like 20 minutes for both. I get 50 bucks from that.

When I bought the car I was worried about the whole windsheild thing. They seem to be making them cheaper and lighter than ever. Just go to any Mini Cooper (the car I was going to buy) message board and read the stories of people who are on their 4th windsheild in one year. I was hoping the tC would not be plagued with the same problem. My Beetle Turbo took some serious hits to the windshield in 4 years and never cracked. It is now pitted to the point that driving with the sun in your face makes it diffucult to see out but that may be a small price to pay for 4 years of no windsheild replacement.
My sunroof has begun the popping noise and there is some other small rattle in the dash somewhere that comes and goes.
My stereo door opens with the quick, fast tap every time.
In mixed city/freeway driving, I got 26mpg on the first tank.
I will wait for the first oil change to have the rattles looked at and I am hoping for no other problems.
Since many of you have had your cars for a few weeks longer than me, it is looking good so far.

I've had my Flint Mica m'/t for 3 weeks now and just went over 1k miles yesterday. I have a had some very infrequent sunroof popping noises and that's about it. The tranny has been great, breaks work well, stereo door is easy to open and close...I do have a paint chip on the right front fender though...stupid gravel roads!
One of the myriad things I love about this car is the acceleration...not that it accelerates like a porsche or Ferrari or anything...but it's just so smooth all the way to 5,500 rpm's...throw some nice shifts in there and it is so sweet. Thank you Toyota for the nice linear torque.

Had mine for 6 weeks and have 1400 miles. Infrequent cracking roof which seems to be minor now. Will have it checked at first oil change.
Love:
1. acceleration
2. looks (flint mica)
3. stereo/sound is MUCH better than most stock units
4. TRD exhaust
5. windshield spray and wipers
6. mute button
7. panoramic roof
8. spacious room in front and back
9. great low price (saved $5000 as I was also looking at the RSX)
Wish:
1. rear window wiper
2. less numbering on the volume control. have to go from 20 to 50 for decent sound
