how do you install fog lights in those little holes on the sides? Does the stock backing come off or do I have to actually cut it out with a dremel or what? And how easy do you think it is to attach the fog lights? Do the brackets that come with the fogs usually do fine, or do you have to make custom ones?

yeah.. you can remove the fake air dam covers down there.. and it should be really easy to do... the only thing i've heard was that you might have to remove your entire front bumper (which isn't that hard) and that'll make it easier to work with.

Correct me if Im wrong but isn't white light pointless for "fog" lights? I was always lead to believe true fog lights are yellow to pierce through mist and such, white just bounces right back into you'r view.
But if you'r goign for looks, yea white looks better.

Exactly right. If you want "fog lights" to use as additional lighting, white is great. If you want "fog lights" to use in foggy conditions, yellow light is definitely recommended.

just curious why flagship vehicles such as LS, Q and 740 are white fog lights? Or are cars in my area just modified. Also cars like murano, highlander are white.

i have always loved PIAA fog lights in the past. I had the PIAA 1200 circular dihoric ion yellow fogs on my 96 ford probe and then a set of PIAA 1500XT's which had the same shape as the stock ford probe fogs but increased performance. on my 98 honda civic.. i had a custom mounted set of PIAA 1200 mounted in the airdam.. and absolutely loved them! they come with a complete wiring system and custom piaa switch.

i am now looking at either the PIAA 1100 or 1400 fogs in yellow or super white for my tc.

oh and just a quick note.. the switch that piaa made was actually illuminated.. yellow when they were on.. and red for when the fogs were off.
