Cmon guys, what part did they order? Just another vent or what.

 

So far that i know of they ordered just the vent.

 

Any updates from owners with this problem?

 

NO..i havent had time to take it in yet...schedule is crazy at work..i dont get off on time..maybe this saturday..I WILL CALL.

im having the same trouble ....when the left side vent is turned towards me it closes that way or if its set straight is turns towards the window......i havent asked my dealer yet......but i got my stereo replaced b/c it kept on saying "error 4" and the CD would get stuck for a day in it........and the sunroof rattling im sure everyone has that problem its not fixable i guess....other than the delay in first gear thats about all the problems i have

 

Ok well no go for saturday..they wont do it then. Now i have to figure out how the hell i am going to do this. But i will let you know what happens after they replace it.

 

My first post. I too have the mysterious moving vent. If you put it just left of center , it stays put. I also have the rattling back hatch, and the slight shutter,chug at idle.
I just bought my 05 tc two months ago, used with about 8k on it.

Cant wait to hear if the new vent stays put.
