i went to the dealer again today with my friend because he wanted to test drive the tc but they didn't have any on the lot. i thought that each dealer had to have at least one on hand to let people test drive it. anyway, i asked one of the reps to check when my tc would come in (i ordered it on 6/27). they said that it would be with the next allocation (6 tcs coming) and i am 2nd on the waiting list. but after that, he said that i wouldn't be able to get it until 2 weeks after the allocated date (two weeks after the 15th?) this makes no sense to me. can someone shed some light?

 

The friend I have @ toyota said it would take about 6 weeks or so for me to get my car(I order mine too)anyways when I asked her about the allocation she said it does take about 1.5- 2 or so weeks to get it once its on the allocation.....or maybe once it's @ the port....I'm not too sure but I should know something tomarrow.I'll post it here if I do.

once the cars are allocated they are AT THE VERY LEAST 2 weeks out. usually the cars are not even at the port when they are allocated, which is why there is a bit of a wait.

 

i live in maine and at the toyota dealer i went to, downeast toyota in brewer good people check em out if you live in maine, they have some tC's there last i knew, but anyways they got 3 in at first sold two of them within the first two days they got them, i bought the second, and then the third one in a week after that, then just two weeks after they sold me mine they got three more in, which one has sold as far as i know. But they told me they had no clue when more were coming in when they sold me mine. the color choice was a bit bad too. The first three with silver streak mica and either it was flint mica or black sand pearl and then the next three were white and black cherry and silver again. im not sure how the other toyota dealerships in maine got their tC's or what colors but i would imagine maine didnt get allocated a whole lot of tC's cuase we have more cows here then people
