goto auto zone and ask where the heavy duty threadlock is, should be next to the gasket sealants and such...

you take some threadlock (usually red) and apply it to the threads of the antenna and screw it in your base, let it dry for 24 hours and you are done!!!

(so basically it is just glue, but made for threads )

Locktite. I hope you like the antenna though, because it's not coming back off once you put some of that stuff on it.

 

if you "permenantly" glue it down, you can just use an antenna base wrench from toyota dealer to take off the base surrounding the antenna and then remove the part that the antenna was threaded into and then get a new one of those and then put the base cap back on

 

Well, my s2k ant is still there, luckily

I will be going to some "car show" at my school soon, though, so I hope it won't get stolen there... argh

 

this thought came to my mind. If i locktite my s2k antenna and some guy trys to steal it but cant, they *might* get ____ed and key my car. a $20 antenna is not worth an $800 paint job.

 

I hate my college some _______ went around keying almost every car in the parking lot, they messed up my tc's paint. Repainted it then never drove it to there again, i leave it at my friends appartment lets see them key it there...... on second thought maybe i should build a personal garage for it...
