I'm sorry to see that. The last car I had was a silver '00 Saturn LS2 3.0L V6. It was a nice car. It must have been hard to see. I kept having people rear end me (I think three times in the last two years, not my fault, their insurance paid). If your tC's frame (unibody?) is bent, get rid of the car after it is repaired (if it isn't totalled). They never can get them quite straight after something like that...

They do i have some repair time for the uni-body i think like 2 hours. They told me that was to check the frame and make sure it was ok. I can only how the frame is bent to ****, so they total it, but i have no such luck.

On a good note i got rid of the POS rental, and got my other baby out of storage early.

i'd start looking for another car. the estimate will keep rising. just a matter of time they'll deem it totaled.

Last time i checked they ordered the parts, so it looks like they are going to try (key word TRY) and fix it. I have a couple cars in mind, (and they are made in Japan) if they do total it.

haha i thought the same, except my dad is turning 56 this year and drives great. 55 isn't old, it's a age were you should be "well experienced".

i'm def. up for testing elders (not 55 tho) at a certain age and i think it should be a little bit more difficult for them b/c of how much change happens at that age. i think 62.5 (as that's the age most start getting social security) would be a good age to start testing every other year and at 70 or 72 every year.

I work at a nursing home, and have learned alot from the elder. Most of which, are of course beyond there golden years into there 90's, on there way out. But in the defense of the elders, some elders are pretty capable of driving alot better then people our age. Also how do you think the elderly feel when you blow there doors off flying by them going 120 in a 55. Elders make mistakes just like anyone else. If you ask me, we are more reckless then they are. Were the dipsh!ts.

there's no way it will be the trucks fault....it happened in a STOP sign intersection...vehicle should STOP .Im a RN and 55 is not old compared to 90 and 100 y/o im taking care of and not stupid enough to be called like wat ur sayin. U rear ended a truck in a STOP intersection??? wth??

there's gotta to be only one stupid driver in the scene, and its not definitely the truck driver.

i'm not saying they're reckless, but they don't have the same reaction and sometimes the decision making is slow. granted folks that are much younger due some of the things that they do, but not nearly as often (i.e. going 25 in a 40, not being able to see signs due to poor vision). i support elders, just always in the driving world; but then again i don't support most south florida drivers period, soooo yeah....
