My engine died yesterday and not coming back. This is my daily driver. Don't want to get rid of it, and found a 2010 engine for 2k or the 2013 for 1k. If it fits going with the 1k motor. Thanks in advance for any advice. Couldn't find anything on the forum about using a newer motor in the older model.

Physically, it will probably fit, but you'll need all the 2013 components (ecu, custom mounts, etc) to make it work. Just go with the same gen swap if you're looking for something quick. Motor retrofits are never simple in computer-controlled cars.
