it's better than nothing at all, I'm guessing...plus it can provide a surface to add a reflective shielding over the turbo area if needed, I'd say.

 

yeah it is not the best heat shield.........did not think about that with a turbo install.......it might get a bit hot for it even......there is a heat sheild material that you can buy online for reflecting the heat back.......not sure of the site though.......Google would be able to find it.......reflective adhesive heat shield
