What are you talking about with changing your fuel injectors?

The Blitz SUS Intake is a shortram intake with a aluminum mesh filter that is less restrictive than other types of filters, but more road debris will go through it (not good). Also, because it's a shortram, heat will be a big problem. The engine will be sucking in hot air which isn't as effective as cold air. I'd run a shortram on the track for low RPM gains. But because I used my xA for a daily driver, a cold air intake is better because of its' high RPM gains.

A friend of mine put the Blitz filter on his xB and actually LOST power on the dyno! Don't know if that filter is supposed to be only run in conjunction w/ the SC or not. But used by itself, it showed a loss in power compared to the stock engine and airbox.

I don't know if the metal mess had anything to do with it or not, but I'm sure it won';t filter effectively. Those holes are pretty big in the mesh.

I was going to get a SUS Intake a while back, but I was planning to do the JDM hood spacer mod for expelling some of the hot air. I'm glad I didn't, though. A friend of mine bought a SUS Intake for his WRX and man, that filter can be used as one of those reuseable coffee filters...

For the price of the Blitz SUS you can easily get an Injen CAI, or better yet, a short ram and have change left over.

Yeah, that's what I ended up with...an Injen RD2105. Shortram mode for Florida's rainy summers and CAI for its' nippy winters. The intake was designed for sound and flexibility (CAI/SRI)... I like it. :D

I couldn't use the Blitz iontake ouyt here anyway. Too many farmer's fields and dust blowing around. Sure the filter will stop pebbles and rocks, but not the peet dust around here!
