Does anyone else have a problem with their driver seat not staying in the position the seat was adjusted to? Whenever I raise my seat up couple pumps, within a day or so the seat goes back down. It won't stay in the position that I raised it to. It probably has too much slack in the rails some where and needs to be tighten up. Does anyone know how to fix it or should I just take it to the dealer (which I rather not do, no time).

I did a search but nothing came up about this.

 

I can believe that, as I don't even recall anyone saying they ever needed to raise the seat. Sorry, no idea what's causing your issue, but dealers should be able to handle it.

 

I have an 06 and mine slides. Its been like that from day 1. Des everyone elses do that?

 

yep, mine does it too.

 

I have an '06, 6000 miles on it, bought in Jan, and it does NOT do that.

Take it to the dealer. Mine had the same issue. I have an 05. The dealer actually replaced the whole seat under warranty! So now I have a brand new driver’s seat and everything works fine. And by the way I only weigh 180!

 

Glad the dealer just replaced the seat for you. One question, how long did it take them to replace the seat?

 

They were doing a lot of other warranty work so some parts had to be ordered. Once the car was in I got it back in 2 hours.
