i know this is an old post... but that magazine scan is the stock bumper. the camera and lighting just makes it look like a lip. look carefully at the bottom indent in the bumper. i've seen the bodykit as well, and that's not it.

 

for the front, click on the ground effect kit

Whoa! I got it to work!... Front & Back -- is there no sides?

I'm eyeballing the sides, and I don't think I see a difference.

 

i have pics that i took of the bodykit on a silver streak if you want it... just give me a PM with your email and i'll send it to you.. there is a nice subtle difference to it.

 

Try this, because I couldn't see a difference either until I tried it:

Go to http://www.wanttc.com and click on contemplate. Now with that window open, use the link above to access the ground effect kit at the Scion website (in a new window, of course). Now flip back and forth between the two windows and you will see a difference. The stock tC has straight skirts below the doors, but the ground effect kit has skirts that are "indented", if you will. Check it out and you'll see the difference.

The side skirts are the only things I like about the kit.
