Yesterday on the 880 up in the Bay Area a body was on the freeway and cars kept running it over!! they had to close the freeway to pick the body up.. talk about debris on the road.

 

I drove by that thing five thousand times while they were tryin' to get it off the freeway.

I've ran into treads, tires, tires with wheels still attached, plywood, and other odd things. My lower air dam is cracked and scuffed up. Gotta love the debris...

 

Yep- my tC has 2500 miles on it and an 18 wheeler kicked up something or other and sure enough, nice big dent/scratch on my front bumper....

 

ouch, sorry to hear that. I try to stay as far away as I can from these big rigs...especially those big open dump trucks (you know the ones that just hauled sand and pebbles) they speed along the freeway not caring for those behind them being showered with sand and stones.

 

I was driving to work in my month old tC yesterday morning and didn't want to be stuck behind the big ol truck hauling rocks so I passed him in the left lane, I pull back in front of him right as another big rock hauling truck pulls up next to me and bam here comes rockey right square into my windshiled, I shielded my face thinking it was going to break but it just made a lot of noise and a chip.

 

Yeah those big trucks hauling rocks suck and there seems to be an abundance of them all over here..and i noticed that as soon as i picked up the tC, suddenly there is construction (with those big massive metal plates in jacked up places on the streets) everywhere I go

 

100% exactly what happened to me too! It was about late last year. now I have this very annoying chip on my windshield, small but still annoying (right in front of my face! i feel like somebody tried to shoot me sniper-style) same truck?
