Default Front License Plate Removal

The search engine needs some improvement....

Anyway, i just got my tC, and even though i told the dealer to leave the front license plate installation to me, they still went ahead and drilled two holes into the bumper. I want to be illegal and take the front license plate off, but there's going to be two huge black holes in my white car.

Any thoughts on how i can fix this? I bought some license plate caps and painted them white and was thinking of just covering the screws with them. Any other ideas? Thanks.

A few things you could choose from:
- Find rubber plugs at your local hardware store and paint them to match your car.
- Leave the screws
- Replace the bumper.
- Bondo and paint the bumper.

Another thing you can do:

Find someone who's getting a White tC who is going to put the plates on the front, and swap bumper covers with them.

Hrm....is the dealer really willing to do that for me? It's been a few days already. How do i get the attention of Longo Scion? That person posts on this forum now and then. Bah....too lazy to pm him/her.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I would have refused delivery of the car. but the only thing you cando is try to get the dealer to pay for it and have a new bumper installed tell them you were going to make a show car and you dont need those holes

Anyone that had those hole drilled but never go your plates yet those holes are still small and I have a bracket that mounts to the lower honey comb grill. Visit my other forum for a group order and also visit my website eight08customs.com

Are you talking about the hoels in the brackets? if that what your takling about that bracket is made for you to just mount it on your car and mount your plate. All holes and hardware come with the brackets. click the link below for more info

Or are you talking about the holes in the bumper? If thats what your talking baout no ther are no holes. My Xb dont have holes cuase I told the dealer not to make them. the imprints are there but the holes are not untill the dealer make them and usally thehole are there when you pick up your car
