At least you and your friends made it out and now you live to tell the story of how you were driving 90mph with bald tires, in the rain, on a mountain side.
The tC handles quite well but I had 2 bald Falkens on the rear of mine and when it drizzled the back end got loose, needless to say those were replaced immediately. I once had a blow out on the expressway and spun out; from that point on I never fail to check things and perform proper maintenance.
Everyone is calling you an idiot but at age 19, depending on how long you've been driving, it really could have been a mistake and one you most likely won't make again.
You live and learn, experience is just the name we give our failures and this my friend is definitely a FAIL!
