gurgling sound and heavy gas smell
So i went to reset my battery and when i restarted my car i rev'd up and the idle went to about 3000rpm and then gargled. so i turned off the car and it did it again . any ideas i went and got my car tuned up the other day and have not driven it for about 2 days.. so i was thiking they put the wrong spark plugs a friend suggested mass air flow sensor toss ur ideas to me plz as soon as possible

I am having the same problem, I didn't drive the TC for a couple of days and now I get a CEL flashing only when I accelerate.
I wil check the MAF sensor first, then, try to get the code for the CEL, but I am not sure if the CEL gets stored in a memory if it's not constantly on.

When you unplug the battery, the ECU is reset and the car has to relearn the idle RPM. I've had the car die on me while relearning. You just have to keep it alive long enough for it to realize where to idle.
