LOL omg, i havent been on this forum for 1.5 years now. I was just bored and decided to come back and see if the rattle issue is finally fixed. Apparently it isnt.

I had a 2005 tC which I loved except the sunroof was making me go insane. Tried to have it fixed FOUR times including changing out the sunroof all together. But each fix made the problem worse instead of better.

I traded the piece of junk in and took a loss, but am very happy that the headache is gone. I hired an attorney but figured it was an uphill battle.

Oh and a toyota service manager in CT told me i should not complain because its a cheap car and I got what i paid for LOL. And '"no" I am not making that up.

All cars are cheap in there own way.. What are you driving now? Iv'e had many cars new and used and all of them have there problems.. My tc has never had the roof rattle, I only have 2 rattles, the stereo door rattle and a hood rattle. Both of mine are easy fixes i have just haven't the time yet.

I traded it in for a used 3 series, which is an awesome car but high maintanence. So I decided to go brand new again with a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT (263 HP !!). I will probably never buy a Scion again. Still have the sour taste. I have seen the new xB (200 around and think its very cool looking. But no more car trading for me. The scion made me lose thousands so I am still recovering from it. Not that im complaining because i love the eclipse and will likely have it for years.

Yea thats what happened to me, I totaled my 03 focus, bought a used 03 Saab 93 turbo for 15k didn't buy the warrenty and after 5 months the transmission starts to act up. So instead of fixing it for 3k i traded it in for my 05 tC, lol and in the end i paid 22k for a used 05 tC with 20k miles on it with the extended warrenty . Ohh well you learn something new all the time and i will never roll over another car loan again.
