Someone hit my tc and ripped off my front plate in the process... I was just wondering how much a stock replacement bumper is. Also anyone that is purchasing body kits I would be interested in purchasing your bumper especially in flint mica.

 

DAMN! sorry to hear about that. I swear people can't drive. I have almost been in 4 accidents in my tC! people just dont look! i had the right away and this lady wasn't paying attention and almost smacked into my driverside door! she slammed on her brakes skidded and had the nerve to give me a dirty look! i was like DAMN LADY MY LIGHT WAS GREEN! YOURS WASNT! stupid people HA!

damn that sucks gLuck w/ a new bumper cover.

 

I have a trailer hitch hole in my front bumper. My dealership quoted me right around $500 for a new front bumper painted and installed. A body shop quoted me $350 to patch and paint the hole. The hole has been there almost three months now cause I don't want to spend that much getting it fixed.

McGeorgeParts.com doesn't have a listing for the bumper cover on their site. Over the phone they gave me a price of $ 166.82.

 

Yea my car was parked at school and when I came out my front plate was on the ground. I wish I would have been there to see it so I could get the plate number... Thanks for the sympathy guys.

I thought you were required to get full insurance on new vehicles. Should this be covered by your insurance?

 

His insurance deductable is probably $500 anyway, better to go ahead and take care of it urself and dont get the points on ur insurance.

 

its only about 550 for a front fascia painted, did the check on labor for painting and installation too... at least in my area.

 

Yea my deductible is $1000 definetly not worth claiming at all. I may just buy the kaeon bumper. Or maybe just try to buff it out... I got quoted 250 to repaint the front bumper and $222 for the bumper cover itself. I will not pay someone to install it though, it is just a few bolts and clips.
