Had my FM in 112 before, didn't take more than 10 minutes to get icey. I've had WAY worse. Heat works great too.

 

Mine works well considering the local climate. Window tinting helps, and use one of those reflective shields for the windshield. Both AC and Heater are very effective within five minutes on mine.

I do like how the compressor comes on almost instantly instead of wating 10-15 seconds like most cars do.
