Default I dont know if this is a problem...

Im not too sure if what Im about to explain is a problem but Im sure someone will let me know... I have passed 3K miles and have really started to push my car a little harder... I noticed that in aggresive driving it is hard to put the tranny into gear... example: from 1-2 at rpms higher then 3500 I have to put ALOT of muscle into it to get it into 2md gear and 3rd and so on... but at normal rpms its fine... is this a problem? I thought I would ask before I take it to the dealer...

EDIT: I'm also sick of the Throttle... I have to sit in rush hour traffic almost every day and the stupid throttle makes the car so jumpy and rough.... is there a fix for the lag and stupidity of the TBW?

I think nothing short of a ECU re-program by Toyota will eliminate the throttle by wire lag, that is sometimes getting in the way of quick shifting. Be careful pushing the stick too hard you can bend the shift forks and really mess it up. It also puts a lot of stress and wear on the synchronizers. I don't seem to have a problem with mine most of the time, but I do remember a few times when it won't go into gear right away because of the elevated revs between shifts.
I wonder if a lighter flywheel can help a little?
I'm sure that a fix for this will eventully come up, being that the tC is now so popular.

Im going to take it to the dealer, but I dont want to say to them... that I have been driving the car agressivly... they will probably tell me that, doing that falls under racing and they will void the warranty...

The lag thing will stop, you kinda have to "re-train" yourself how to drive a stick with the wireless throttle now. I can't think of any reason it should be hard to put into gear tough, not a problem with mine or any of the tC's I've driven here at work.....pushing the clutch in enough?....I dunno...
