It depends on your insurance company and your driving history.
Any claim that you put into your insurance company, regardless of your driving history will jack your rates up, especially on a claim where you are found 100% at fault.

The car that was hit was completely stopped, parking legally, and immobolized. He'll be found 100% at fault. The Insurance company will eat him alive, especially since hes under 25 years old.

It will most likely be considered a parking lot accident which will have very very little impact. I bumped a car in a parking lot once, and I think it raised my insurance about $10 every 6 mo

I hit some debris on the highway which was UNavoidable and my rates stayed the same.

The thing is, i didnt pay for it, the other persons insurance company payed for it, so maybe the body shop jacked up the price?
haha.. yeah.. probably. sucks for them! maybe they should've paid attention to what they were doing.

this would have to be the last place i would be posting about my car but here goes. i bought my car and it was delievered with 0 miles on it . loven the beauty of an 06 tc in nautical blue. around 2742 miles i was hit by a landy in a ford expo she was doing 55 in a 30. i got 11 grand in damage i had it fixed professional at a scion certified body shop. got the car back drives great no problems. but it's not over yet a couple weeks ago i was driving to work and we had 75 mile hour winds and i had to dodge a tree and went off road cracking the bumper up but the kit is ordered and this spring shell be a new car yet. her milage is 8240 now and she drives like a dream.
