I left my headlight on all day!!
Whats up ya'll. I was looking for parking at the school parking garage and I turned on the headlight cause it was dark, but I couldn't find parking so I drove out, and forgot to turn off the headlight! I went to class, and to work.. until I got off work, I finally noticed it. Good thing, my car didn't die though. My headlights are koito WHITEBEAMS. I left the headlights on at 10am to 4:30... You guys think my lightbulbs gonna die out soon cuz of this?

Try it sometime. Your mind just might be blown.
If you were able to start your engine after leaving your headlights on that long, it would be a miracle. No battery can power the headlights that long without running down to the point that you cannot turn over your engine to start.
No, you did not leave your headlights on, your auto off headlight system took care of it as you closed the door and hurried on to your class.

if the lights were on while the car was running, and u took out the keys and got out of the car, ur headlights weren't on...unless u climbed out ur window or turned the lights on after having exited the car once already. and bulbs wouldn't die from being on for 6.5hrs.

yeah, I was thinking about the passenger side, as I remember my gf getting out of the car before me, and my lights were still on. didn't know about the hatch, though..how do you get out through the hatch, btw?
actually I do miss a feature in my 98 corolla, it had auto on/off headlights, it was basically a sensor mounted in the corner of the dash by the windshield. It would detect how light it was and would auto turn on and off. It worked great and you could override it if you didn't like how it worked
