Default I left my headlight on all day!!

Whats up ya'll. I was looking for parking at the school parking garage and I turned on the headlight cause it was dark, but I couldn't find parking so I drove out, and forgot to turn off the headlight! I went to class, and to work.. until I got off work, I finally noticed it. Good thing, my car didn't die though. My headlights are koito WHITEBEAMS. I left the headlights on at 10am to 4:30... You guys think my lightbulbs gonna die out soon cuz of this?

Wow! It's amazing how the car still managed to start. Your lightbulbs should still be okay for a while.

Did you actually see the lights on cause if not don't worry they turn off when you open the door. Unless you turn them on after opening the door.

doesn't your car have the auto off feature? Or were some mods done to override this. I always leave my headlights on but they shut off when I open the door and the key is removed.

what you mean after i open the door? I turned the headlights on while i was driving, then when I parked.. I never switched it off, I just turned off the engine, open my door, and went to class.

When you open the door to exit the car, the lights turn off automatically.

Try it sometime. Your mind just might be blown.

If you were able to start your engine after leaving your headlights on that long, it would be a miracle. No battery can power the headlights that long without running down to the point that you cannot turn over your engine to start.
No, you did not leave your headlights on, your auto off headlight system took care of it as you closed the door and hurried on to your class.

if the lights were on while the car was running, and u took out the keys and got out of the car, ur headlights weren't on...unless u climbed out ur window or turned the lights on after having exited the car once already. and bulbs wouldn't die from being on for 6.5hrs.

actually I do miss a feature in my 98 corolla, it had auto on/off headlights, it was basically a sensor mounted in the corner of the dash by the windshield. It would detect how light it was and would auto turn on and off. It worked great and you could override it if you didn't like how it worked
