planning to put an s2000 push start in my tc where the cigarette lighter is. i know the wires i need to connect from the ignition but i don't know what other parts i need and how to connect them to the button. i want to be able to still use my key just in case the button fails.

i did a search. i found one for another brand of button start. THANKS!

 

i did this on my car not with the s2000 button though. but you will need 2- 30/40 amp relays a lot of wire and t-taps when i get home today i will upload a diagram on how wire it all up with a diagram

 

Simply intercept the starter wire, and put a relay feeding from ignition to it.

You can find wirecolors on scionlife, use all the thick ignition wires.

 

yea but remeber to get 2 relays because the tC has 2 ignition starter wires and you need to wire up both

you could use 2 diodes to isolate the two from one relay
