so i picked up my rim. they welded it pretty good. no more crack. hahaha. doesnt look so pretty, but at least theres no more air leak.
the inside of the rim was welded shut. then they put some type of silicone to make sure it doesnt leak anymore.

the outside of the rim was welded pretty good. they didnt sand it down flush, but its okay. you can clearly see where the two cracks were located on the rim.

its not what i expected to look like, but at least i got the tire mounted and stretched on it. at least its on the inside of the rim so you cant even see it. so my car looks like normal again. weeee!!!

i was adjusting my front camber today again cuz i noticed my front right was still toooo close to the fender. i couldnt figure it out why it was like that cuz i maxed out both camber bolts already. then i figured it out. i was looking at my coilovers, and i noticed the left side was sitting a little bit lower than the right, making the tire too close to the fender. i compaired both sides and the right side was like 2 treads higher.
this is the right side. you can see that i only have the top ring since i removed the bottom locking ring. if you look close enough, u can see that the metal piece where the sway bar is connected to has a small weld that prevents the ring to go all the way down.

this is the left side with the ring all the way down so its touching the sway bar holder thing. so it was like 2 or 3 treads lower than the right.

so since i couldnt lower the right side anymore, sadly
, i had no choice but to raise the left side to match the height of the right. so i used a nickle and a penny to measure exactly how much higher it was than the other side.

and i matched that with the left side.

so now, with the wheels back on, the tires are still mad tucking, but i have about a 2 1/2 finger gap in both fronts, and a 1 1/2 finger gap in the rears. the rears still have about 5 treads left, but i dont wanna go any lower back there or it would look retardedly uneven.

yeah, but u can see the ring is a lil bit tall. so it was still on the treads. just at the lowest setting. me and Socal are doing the same thing with our coils. its the rears that are sketchy cuz if you put the rings too low, it will literally fall right off the strut.
Well it doesnt matter, the rear goes lower anyways, but I feel we've talked about that already lol.
That sucks though man. I'd say shave off the part that's not letting it go down... But its a weld, no bueno. Whenever I get my camber bolts in, I wanna try shaving my bumpstops. Wanna go mad low in the front.

either that or i can email rokkor for a replacement for a right. just tell them that its blown cuz im sure they'll send me a new one right away. i still have an extra front left coil just sitting around in my room cuz when i first got them in the mail, they accidentally sent me two front left and no right. i emailed them that night and the next morning, they sent out a replacement no questions asked. they gave me a return label to send back the other left coilover, but i never sent it. hahaha.
so u think i should email and try to get a replacement for a new right? that way i can have an extra front left AND right. or should i try to just shave off that weld?

and yes, i wanna shave off my bump stops in the fronts also, but idk how much to cut. and since its non-reversable, im kinda hesitating to do it. unless i can get a replacement from rokkor. haha
