jeremy, aren't they going to charge you if you don't send the old one in? And what did you tell them caused the rubbing issue to make it seem like it was their fault? lol

i havnt updated this thing in a loooong time.

1. i put in my meagan racing short shifter
2. i replaced my two front tires which were 215/35.
3. blew out a tire two days after i replaced the front tires.
4. upgraded to 215/40 for the fronts.
5. i had to raise my front coils half an inch to fit the 40 series.
6. the bigger sidewall of the 40 series raised it a bit too.
7. and JUST today, i pulled into the parking lot of my school, and my front left fender buckeled. -____-

so, i might need to either raise the front more, or pull the fenders. OR i could get another set of camber bolts for the fronts and run -3 in the front.

ill upload pics later on.

when your tires make love with your fenders while turning they tend to buckle in.

Mostly it's caused by big tires and bouncy raceland coils. Im on my stockies and I rub constantly, kind hoping I get my bc coils soon cause I don't wanna have a buckled fender

this was my two fronts with the 215/35. they got soooo bald, so i threw on brand spanking new 215/35 on them

but then i popped the front right literally 2 days after i got em in.

i wasnt as mad as you would think. only reason is cuz i surprisingly didnt scratch the hell out of the lips of my rim. especially with the stretch of 215 on a 10. hahaha.

so i upgraded to 215/40. knowing that it was a bigger sidewall, i raised the coils about 1/2 and inch, give or take. first i was rubbing lake crazy, but i bent in a tab where the bumper meets the fender, and i was fine. but then i made a suuuper hard turn trying to get into a parking spot at school, and i heard a pop. i though i ran over a bottle or something. i took a peek and i saw this.

i pulled it out with my hands and it was okay. then i drove to UPS to drop off a package. when i was parallel parking, i heard the pop again. so i pulled it out a little bit more than i did before. idk what do do now, im kind of getting lazy with my car. i can either get a new set of camber bolts to run -3 up front, or pull my fenders out. no way im going back to 215/35 cuz i spent a fortune replacing popped tires.

oh, and i completely forgot about posting this a while ago.

bye bye torques. you will be missed!!!

i sold em to tin's homie "nice lips". hahaha. i hope he doesnt mind me posting his car on here. he's lowered on TRD springs. and he mounted 225/40 on the rims. it was an okay stretch on a 9.5 i told him to go lower. haha

you got federal ss595s? they run a little bigger than normal you should have gotten a 205/40 if you wanted a tire that was a 215.
