lol. good eye. but my rim is 10 wide. they almost couldnt stretch that on there, they had to make me pay an extra $10 each wheel to stretch. i dont think they would have stretched a 205 on there.

i dont think i ever uploaded this. but i did this a while ago. i installed my megan racing short shifter. then i had an extra crown royal bag laying around, so i decided to make it into a boot.

so now an update on my wheel issue. -___-
as of right now, i have 225/40 in the rears since when i needed them last month, they were out of the 215/40. so to make those fit, i had to raise the rear by a centimeter and pulled the fender just a tad.
now if you follow my thread occasionally, i recently changed my fronts from 215/35 to a 215/40 since they were out of the 35 series. so to make the 40 fit, i had to raise the front by an inch. even when i did that, it still buckled up my fenders. my left one looks horrible.

right:

and i got a new job as a delivery driver last week and i have to use my own car. so i had to raise it again by a quarter of an inch. bleh. so as you can see, my front went from half a finger gap, to about 3 fingers. IMO, this stance looks horrible. hahaha. so tomorrow, im gonna go buy two new 214/35 to put in the fronts, and im gonna push the 215/40 in the rears. by doing that, i should be able to go as low as i was before back in my torques setup. im gonna have to sell the two 225/40 tires, so if anyone is interested, lemmie know

i know sooo many ppl with that boot now! and delivery driver?! i would think twice before driving my car as a delivery car, never know what you'll encounter on the job! as jasper said above, you're taking it to a whole new level! ahahha
Man that sucks Jeremy. Cool you're taking the daily driver to a new level but tire issues suck. Especially when you get everything dialed in perfectly and it all goes to hell.

^Its why I dropped my RL's, partly. Mine were far to bouncy and I was afraid this would eventually happen with all the bounce.
Jeremy, there's some fenders for sale here on craigslist. (I texted the guy asking if they were maybe the 10mm wider cf ones, they're just normal) but I wouldn't mind picking em up for you if you want. Bet I could get them for under $200-$300.

i normally run a 35 series tire with my drop and wheel specs, but my dumbass thought it would be cool to get a 40 series instead. everytime i made a U-turn, it woud pull the fenders in. so that resorted me to raise the whole car about an inch. but everything is back to normal now.
FYI, the coils werent the problem. it was the tires. i know i saved money on the coils, but theyre still as good as they were when i first got them. i spent a normal amount on the tires, but i just so happen to purchase the wrong size. knowing that i had a problem with the wrong tire size, i was able to correct it with an adjustment to the "cheap" coils. so no need to be bashing on my coils homie. im still as low as many people on this site daily driven. all you guys on here know that i dont drive stupid fast, so theres no need for me to be buying the higher end coils if im not gonna use them to their full potential. i have no regrets buying these rokkor tuning coilovers. if ever i need to, i would buy them again. best $280 i spent for my car no doubt.

and now to the updates. so yesterday before i went to work, i bought a couple new tires. i bought two 215/35 tires and put them in the front. and the 215/40 i had was rotated to the rears. the 225/40 will be soon for sale in the classifieds. so with my new tire setup, i was able to drop my coils all the way down like i had them initially. im as low as i was before with ZERO problems now. no rubs, no buckling, no problem. haha.
btw, i remember last week when i made a U-turn and the left fender buckled. i drove for about a block until i was able to pull over. the whole block, i could hear the fender rubbing on the tire. so when i pulled over, i got out of the car to pull out the fender with my bare hands. stupid me, i didnt test to see how hot the fender got. so when i stuck my finger in there, i burnt the tip of my index finger. to this day, i have a burn mark on my finger. hahahahaha. oh well, low life aint easy
ill post pics later of how my car sits as of now. i have a day off from work today, so ill prolly work on my fenders.... now im off to find out how to remove fenders. haha
