t6c9, that is awesome!! is that silver leather or silver suede?? I'd like mine to be silver suede, but to go through the whole middle section, top to bottom. If possible, also to have contrast yellow stitching on the sides!

 

no it's silver leather... i thought about goin all the way to the top but i figured i'd like the way i did mine better, which i do ... yellow stiching though?? i dunno about that unless you plan on doin something yellow with your car, cuz yellow silver and black....

 

the yellow stiching's only going to be on the black leather, on the side bolsters. Trust me, if you see a Lambo or Aston Martin, they have similar look. Very upscale,exotic and sporty looks to it!

 

yeah i know what stiching is.... i still don't know why yellow?? if anything i'd do silver stiching to match the rest of the color scheme and the car... now maybe if you did yellow inserts, that'd be a different story... i dunno man, whatever floats your boat...

 

Hey all, it's been a while since anyone posted to this thread, so I'm just checking. Is Katskin still around? I googled them and found nothing other than a buch of articles where they were mentioned as the source for the leather seats.

On another note, I want to get leather for my RS1. I can do the work myself, I did a replacement of vinyl in my '65 stand several years ago, can't be too different.

Who do I need to contact, and do they have a website? I want to go with black or charcoal leather with gray suede inserts all with orange stiching (to go with the lava). Has anyone seen anything close to this (stiching color)?

I am going to go back to my dealership and have them put leather in mine before the winter. I also want to add the heated seat options to keep my behind warm in the cold winter months.
