Knocking in the windshield area (im guessing)
Up here in the southeast corner of wisconsin, it's been getting cold these past few winters. When it gets to around 15 degrees or lower, there is a very loud knocking sound when i go over bumps. Has anyone experienced it/ had it fixed? again, it only happens when it gets really cold.
yeah, im sure its the windshield area. ive tried closing the sunroof, and it already is all the way. and if it's the shocks. wouldnt i be hearing it from all around and not just the front?

i have the same issue and i had it checked and they found nothing wrong. My dealer blamed it on my injen cai.

yeah it could very well be your intake, i know injen does that a lot (the knocking), otherwise it's just normal how the way materials contract when it gets cold outside... more play room.

I had the same problem with my 07. It's a free fix at the dealer. It is listed under TSB NV009-06.
From the TSB:
If a creak, tick, or rattle noise is heard at the top or bottom of the windshield, the source
of the noise may be the two windshield stoppers bonded to the top of the windshield or
the windshield retainers bonded to the lower edge of the windshield. This bulletin
provides the recommended repair procedure to eliminate these types of noises from the
windshield area.
