Default Low Tire Pressure indicator keeps on

Dont know what to do, it keeps on ever since I got my car from the dealer. The dealer handed me over the car on sat night, but I found out that they scratched my rear right wheel and tire, so I asked for replacement. They told me to come back on monday and get a new one and i did. But then, I found out that light keeps on all the time, and I checked the tire pressure, they are all the same...

tell me its ok, tell me whether i can fix it myself (busy schedule every day, cant get to the dealer before they close)

I think the manual tells you how to reset it.

check all tire pressure, make sure it is at recommended PSI, then inside your glove box there is a button that says reset, hold it down for a few seconds and it resets it to that psi. But just make sure that the tire pressure is at the recommended PSI first.

The computer doesn't remember what PSI the tires are at....

Each wheel has sensors that detect speed. The ECU calculates how long it takes for each wheel to make one revolution and then reports the average to the computer which is how it determines your physical speed. When one tire is making revolutions at a greatly different pace (i.e. flat or almost flat tire) it will flip the tire pressure sensor warning light because it assumes that that is the cause for the revolution variation. Hope this helps answer some questions.

How badly did they scratch because the same thing happened to two of my rims once the dealership rotated the tires? If they replace the rim tell me cuz I want replacements also. We really shouldn't have to live with there speedy half-assed work.

I had rims scratched slightly when they rotated the tires and they just had a wheel guy repair them, and honestly, you cannot tell they have been repainted they look like stock.

Well, mine is actually not a slight scratch
It looks like somebody tried to parallel park my tC before i got it, and the guy who parked parallel...well sucked and scratched the rim and tire .
I doubt it that they "repair" mine, i think they had to replace it!
