Yep, tinted the reflectors when I put in the DDE's... No cop is ever going to notice, and at night, they light up just fine.
You do have to bake your headlamps to get into them though

Baking is Baking.... It's kind of funny.
I took my oven, preheated it to 250.
Then I took my light assembly off the car and took all bulbs/rubber/screws off of it.
Then I placed it on a towel, on a cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes.
That heats up the assembly uniformily and the adhesive silicone enough to seperate the lense from the housing, giving me full access inside to do whatever I wish.
You just need to make sure you clean the inside really well before reassembling, and also make sure you use a nice grey silicone sealant when putting it back together.
It takes some guts, but with the DDE's and the Tinted reflectors (Without lame overlays) it looks great!
