So I installed my 3rd TBL from oznium today... it looks great. Install was fairly easy except the fact that I closed my hatch without being able to open it..
I took of the garnish handle (with the button) so I could take out the light and put it in the trunk. Then i decided to close it to clean off the adhesive from the OEM light.
After cleaning it all off I look down and theres no way of opening the hatch...
About 35 minutes and a couple white hairs I was able to plug the handle back in through the back of the car through the little hole you could plug out....

Man I was ____ed but i cant stop laughing now that I remember it.

 

wow that sux man but pretty hilarious at the same time hahahha

 

ya i almost did the same thing when i took the garnish off to have it shaved, but i stopped and thought about it

I did the same thing........man it sucked.......and my wife was watching too.......

 

if you have to, theres a panel on the inside of the hatch that you can pop off then just push the mechanism either up or down (i forget) and it unlocks the hatch

I just pulled mine out last nite to have it tinted by FLEA and I was thinkin' the whole time: "don't close the hatch... don't close the hatch..."

i stuck a screw driver in the hole at the bottom.

i figured i;d do something stupid, so i prevented it

Or was that just a typo?

 

I am on my second one........mine had one side go out about 3 weeks before the warrenty went out........luck was on my side........no warrenty on the new one but if I get a year out of it I am very happy.
