i love the car, But have had a few problems so Far...

The one headlight got water in, its Being fixed monday, (Faulty seal from factory)

Now i have this little rattle that sounds like its under me? maybe? its so odd, and its REALLLLLLLLLY Annoying..

Very Soft, But loud enough for me to have to turn the radio up

So i TO have a rattle...

 

Get used to it. You'll hear more.

As with 95% of new cars. Especially the first few years of a production run. They haven't had the customer feedback to find holes in the design.

Alot of fixes are avaliable, and have been discussed exhaustively. Use the search function, that might bring back some threads with fixes in them. For rattles from your sunroof and (i believe) hatchback, the dealer has a notice (TSB?) and fix for you for free. Or try searching the forum's at www.yoursciontc.com. Less members than scionlife, but it's a good thing. Believe me.

 

i searched last night threw the car, it sounds like its coming from under me, The seat or maybe the Shocks?

its friggen annoying me

 

jason- does it happen at idle? or only when the car is moving? only when accelerating?

i was thinking it might be a heat shield on the exhaust..

 

only when moving, and Going over bumps

 

go back to deal..have them fix it...still under the warenty?

 

might still want to check the exhaust system.. as well as the heat shields for the exaust..

also check the springs.. stuff for the dealer, but throwing out some ideas to check..
