Need some help with vibration during idle
Did a search, but didn't find any answers. I checked out the last vibration issue thread and it seems most were saying that it's normal.
I have a 2006 TC automatic with about 40k miles, bone stock. While in P, the car vibrates so much I can feel it in my seat and in the steering wheel. I can hear things rattling inside the cabin due to the vibration. Opening the hood, I can visibly see the entire motor vibrating, almost looking like a blur because it's vibrating so much.
When putting into D, it will continue to vibrate, maybe little more. But once I start moving, the vibration gradually goes away while I continue to drive more.
It runs perfectly fine, and it idles fine in normal range. No unusual idle or anything like that.
Any thoughts on this? Is this normal to vibrate so much? My dad's 2011 4 cylinder auto Camry runs silky smooth and my sister's xB also runs smooth. Anyone have any idea on what would cause it to vibrate like this? Any help appreciated!
